Mon amie Claire quitte Paris pour vivre à Nantes. Pour sa soirée de départ, je lui ait préparé deux cadeaux pour qu'elle n'oublie pas Paris de sitôt : une boule de neige (toujours pratique) et une petit broche en feutrine tour eiffel. Cette broche est tellement simple à fabriquer, et finalement tellement stylée, que je vous propose un petit tutorial.
1. Dessiner une forme de Tour Eiffel sur une papier.
2. Prendre de la feutrine, la plier en deux. Placer le haut du patron Tour Eiffel sur le plis. Couper le long du dessin, sauf le haut de la tour pour n'avoir qu'un seul morceau de feutrine à la fin.
3. Coudre dos à dos la tour eiffel au point de feston (un point super simple expliqué pas à pas )
4. Remplir de bourrage ou de coton au fur et à meure que vous cousez.
5. Coudre pour finir une épingle à nourrice au dos.
6. Et voilà !
Pour ne rien oublier de Paris, à voir et à revoir la comédie de William Holden, Paris when it sizzles. Tous les clichés américains dans les beaux yeux d'Audrey Hephburn rendent cette une comédie aussi romantique que Paris.
One of my very dear friends had a goodbye party the other day, she's leaving Paris to live in Nantes. I was very sad, so to make sure she doesn't forget Paris, I bought her a Paris snowball (always handy) and crafted a little eiffel tower pin. It was so easy to make, and looked so good in the end, I wanted to share a mini tutorial here, for you to try it.
1. Draw an eiffel tower shape on a paper
2 . Take a piece of felt, fold it in 2, place the top of the tower pattern on the fold.
cut along your pattern. Don't cut the top of the tower, so you have only one piece of felt at the end.
3. Sew the felt back to back with scallop stitches ( I couldn't find an english tutorial so I'm not sure of the word, but the photos explanations are very clear I think)
4. Fill with filling material as you stitch.
5. Attach a safety pin with its head down at the back of the broch.
6.Ta-dah !
To forget nothing of Paris, watch over and ovr again the lovely romantic commedy Paris When it sizzles, by William Holden. Every american clichés together in the beautiful eyes of Audrey Hephburn make the film as romantic as Paris.
